Position: Market Researcher
Reports to: Research Director
Location: Shanghai, China
Description:
Support strategic initiatives or business units in the strategic planning process in the design of market or competitive research requests.
Collect and analyze the required information.
Advise on analytical approaches to explore strategic opportunities and selectively supports documentation.
Conduct market research on competitive, regulatory, technology, and customer trends leveraging resources and affiliations as well as original research.
Consolidate and interpret collected information to assist executive team with key strategic decisions.
Create and maintain a database on competitors
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 3 years job experience with emphasis on the software market and technical fields with an emphasis on market research and strategic analysis.
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferably with 2 years of working experience with an internationally renowned IT research firm
